Biggest freelance challenge — getting the pricing right.

Looking forward to being a winner!

  2. Manik Rathee says:

wow.. what an incredible set of prizes!

    Time to start promoting.

It is absolutely incredible that you have gotten such a strong following in such a short time.

Maybe your next article should describe your personal steps and how you managed that.

    Regardless, great job!

Biggest Challenge: Since I am in the beginning stages of starting my freelance studio, the biggest challenge to me is getting all the legal stuff together and making sure it’s all correct.

    Love the site!

  4. James Costa says:

Woah, Neil! This IS a big contest! Good job — keep up the good work.

I’ve definitely already done a ton of these things.

Name on Facebook: James Costa (Millhouse Costa)

    Keep up the good work!

  5. Biggest Challenge:
Working with those clients who like to give “advice” during the design process. It often involves cluttering up a clean design, or perhaps changing an effective logo design to a lackluster one. They don’t understand that I’m designing for their target market and not for THEM.

Great job on the Freelance Show Neil.

  6. Looking forward for good price :)

I have done very little work by freelancing, looking forward for freelancing work.

    Great post though :)

  7. blogjunkie says:

    Here’s my entry — http://blogjunkie.net/2009/12/freelanceshow-holiday-giveaway

My greatest challenge: finding good help
    Twitter username: @blogjunkie

P.S. I’d like to win the CampaignMonitor tshirts — kthxbai :)

  8. My biggest challenge is managing my time.

  9. Andrew Cohen says:

Biggest freelance challenge would be pricing, finding work, and knowing I’m doing a solid job…or the right thing.

  10. Kylie Larsson says:

I think the largest challenge is time management. I also tweeted this @rklarsson

  12. James Costa says:

Forgot to mention — the hardest challenge of a freelancer has to be not procrastinating. It seems that as much as I try, I get distracted by things easily and despite my to-do lists and more, I never get to the work I actually need to do. ;-)

    Hi there,
I’m really enjoying this blog and all its useful tips. I’ve started following it for my brookcorwin twitter account and become a fan on facebook.
As a freelancer, figuring out the right pricing scheme is probably my most difficult challenge, followed closely by time management as I also juggle grad school.
    Keep up the good work,
    –Brook
